Students Share Social Enterprise Ideas at The SP Jain Singapore Campus

On the 19th of April, 2017, the Bachelor of Business Administration Debate Club organised a small Social Enterprise pitching competition. A couple of teams came together to present some interesting concepts, which were either already funded, or fresh ideas.

Carpool Elevator Pitch – 90 Seconds of Adrenaline Rush

During the last week of March 2017, Dr Bhanu Ranjan, Assistant Professor of Communications at SP Jain, organised a 90-seconds elevator pitch in a car for the Global MBA students at the Singapore Campus. Dr Ranjan had invited four individuals from the industry who had to pitch or assess pitches for their day-to-day work, to join in as assessors for the pitches.

Celebrating Holi, the Festival of Colours, at the Singapore Campus

Known as the festival of colours or the festival of love, Holi is a Hindu festival widely celebrated not only in India and by the Indian Diaspora, but also by Russians and the French. Traditionally celebrated after burning a wooden structure representing the demoness Holika, the festival celebrates the victory of good over evil. The colours are said to represent the bursts of joys.

Orientation in Singapore for EMBA Batch 05

Being away from formal education a long time, entering a Business School is always filled with nervousness, excitement and of course the sheer aspiration to be one amongst the best. The EMBA Batch 05 Orientation in Singapore reflected all of this and more in the students. Held from the 17th to the 20th of February, 2017, the EMBA Mumbai cohort left for Singapore on 17th February.
