On Sunday 22nd September, the online Executive MBA (EMBA) ECAP alumni interaction event, with the theme "Leveraging Continuous Learning for Career Advancement," was a resounding success with over 72 students in attendance from the EMBA Global and Singapore cohorts.
Dr Gary Stockport (Professor - Strategy, Dean - Executive MBA and Chair - Examinations Board), SP Jain, opened the event with a warm welcome, giving an overview of the EMBA program and introducing the distinguished panellists.
The panel discussion was moderated by Arjun Dang, a current EMBA student from the GEMBA B18 cohort.
With over two decades of experience in supply chain operations, Sagar Jain, Director of Sustainability, Health & Safety for Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa at Mondelez International, discussed his expertise in leading ESG efforts and implementing sustainability projects.
Devanathan Raghunathan, a veteran in healthcare, life sciences, and MedTech with over 17 years of experience in the ASEAN region, shared insights on healthcare strategy and market execution, while Rahul Sharma, a seasoned expert in data management with over 15 years in data quality and governance, spoke about the significance of data in business strategies.
Throughout the discussion, the panelists highlighted the importance of flexibility, continuous networking, and staying current with changes in the business landscape as key elements for long-term career progression.
A student remarked, “The candid discussion was immensely helpful in reinforcing that career advancement hinges on the ability to adapt, continuously learn and remain open to new perspectives."
